Flag
A resident of the Amur Region was tried for desecration of the State Flag of the Russian Federation. He received a mild punishment — four months of restriction of freedom, because he also outraged the flag mildly. On a winter night, drunk and thirsty, he climbed onto the roof of the entrance of the Albazin village council, removed the State flag of the Russian Federation from the building of the village council and wrote on it a declaration of love to his lady of the heart. Carried a love banner on a date and lost it along the way. So the crime was revealed.
Here’s what’s interesting — is any misuse of the standard a wrongful act? If a resident of the Amur Region wrote on the tricolor: «I love you, Russia, my dear Rus!» — would this act be considered an outrage? Should the symbol of statehood be protected from patriotic ecstasies? Alas, this is the law. Any deliberate destruction or, more importantly, damage to the flag is automatically considered an act of desecration. For example, the Stavropol brothers did not escape punishment, claiming that they broke the flag out of patriotic feelings, wishing to install it over the roof of their house..
So our Amur walker made four mistakes on a winter night. Two spelling, in the text of the lyric message, and two epic. There was no need to spoil the flag and even climb the wall of the Albazin village council was not worth it; but the main thing is that you should never lose your love notes. It never leads to anything good.
