According to information received on Monday from the newspaper «RBK daily», Absolut Bank can receive 70 hectares of land plots near Moscow from the company «Miel» on account of a debt in the amount of 963 million rubles.
The newspaper points out that last Friday the Arbitration Regional Court of the Moscow Region accepted for consideration a claim from Absolut Bank against the Miel holding, among other things, against the Miel company.
Andrey Voronin, head of the department of corporate clients at Absolut Bank, noted that the reason for filing a claim was the failure of Miel to comply with the terms of the loan agreement, under which the company has not made payments since 2014.
The newspaper also notes the developer’s confidence in a positive solution to the debt problem and his plans to build cottages on land planned for receipt..
According to information from RBC daily, Absolut Bank is going to collect the debt from the mortgaged property. The loan is secured by lands located within a radius of 30 km. from the Moscow ring road in the southwest and owned by the Miel company.
Experts of the Blackwood company estimate the land plots pledged by Absolut Bank at the current market value in the amount of from $ 7 million to $ 49 million.
The newspaper also notes that last year Miel was already forced to give Sberbank Capital a little more than 70 hectares for late payments.
